Driftwood from Siberia on the shores of Phippsøya, Seven Islands, Svalbard
The Seven Islands are the northernmost place of Svalbard, where the costs are freezing already in early September again. As Fridtjof Nansen already proofed, the enormous amounts of driftwood have been transported with the Arctic sea ice drift from Sibirien rivers.
