Bridging science, communities, and policy to foster sustainable environmental change
I am passionate about working towards meaningful solutions to the global environmental issues we are facing today. What I Bring
My interdisciplinary academic background in Development Studies, Economics, and International Environmental Studies reflects my curiosity about the interconnectedness of environmental, social, and economic issues. The focus of my master's thesis was on ecosystem services and the diverse values of nature. During my studies, I conducted fieldwork in Tanzania and Sri Lanka, worked part-time with UNICEF Norway and interned with ZERO. Post-graduation, I participated in the Trainee Sør programme, working on projects related to climate, environment, and sustainability with Kristiansand commune, Nye Veier, and Sparebanken Sør, providing me with diverse experience and understanding across three different sectors. At GRID-Arendal, I serve as an Expert in the Pollution team, managing and engaging in projects addressing marine and plastic pollution. I also co-lead our work on behaviour change, exploring how behavioural science insights can help us better understand and address the behavioural barriers and enablers to tackling environmental issues. Outside of work, I enjoy connecting with friends and family, spending time in nature, reading, and playing the piano and guitar. My Focus Areas
