Utilising the Arts, and Innovative Communication tools to drive environmental change.
As an Creative Communication Expert, I harness the power of communication to engage the public on the triple planetary crisis. My work currently focuses on Pollution at GRID-Arendal, working on projects related to capacity building for the UN Plastics Treaty, and the EU Zero Pollution Ambition. What I Bring
I’m a communications specialist with a strong background in environmental storytelling, outreach, and stakeholder engagement. I focus on making complex environmental issues accessible and actionable, often using innovative formats like exhibitions, theatre, interactive media, and workshops. I’ve led public engagement initiatives showcased at high-level international events, including the UN Environment Assembly and the Global Plastics Treaty negotiations. My work has highlighted issues such as the climate impacts of plastics and the need for a just transition for informal waste workers. I also support capacity-building efforts in West Africa on global plastics policy and have developed multimedia tools to raise awareness about pollution issues like PFAS and tyre wear. My focus on using the arts to communicate urgent social and environmental challenges has drawn interest from government, academia, industry, and civil society. Before this, I contributed to WWF Netherlands’ successful campaign for a UN plastics treaty, helping build international momentum for a binding global agreement on plastic pollution. My Focus Areas
