The Assessment of Oceanic Blue Carbon in the UAE: Policy Options report aims to provide a first-level assessment of oceanic blue carbon policy opportunities within the United Arab Emirates. The principal investigators have surveyed national policy stakeholders to assess perceptions to and opportunities in advancing the concept of oceanic blue carbon. The analysis represents the world’s first national oceanic blue carbon policy assessment and will allow relevant policy and management entities in the UAE to evaluate options for the potential implementation of related policies at the local and national levels.
