ResilienSEA – Resilient Seagrasses
The ResilienSEA project aims to enhance the scientific expertise and management of seagrass meadows in seven West Africa countries.
One of West Africa’s great sea turtle migration takes place from Guinea-Bissau up more than 1,000 kilometres north to Mauritania. Along the way, the turtles shelter and feed in seagrass meadows. This StoryMap takes you along on the migration and explores how green turtles are lured northwards by lush meadows of pristine seagrass.
