Bridging science and policy to tackle pollution in our oceans.
My professional journey is grounded in a commitment to understanding and addressing human impacts on marine ecosystems. With a background in Arctic marine ecology and hands-on experience in fieldwork, data analysis, and international collaboration, I work to bridge scientific knowledge with practical solutions to environmental challenges, particularly those linked to pollution, and marine litterWhat I Bring
I hold an MSc in Arctic Marine Ecology with a focus on ecotoxicology, developed through research on pollutants in glaucous gulls in collaboration with the Norwegian Polar Institute. This work included field experience in Ny-Ålesund, as well as data analysis in R and contribution to international monitoring initiatives like SEAPOP and SEATRACK. Currently, at GRID-Arendal, I lead and support projects addressing marine litter, plastic pollution, and waste management. My role spans project coordination, report development, stakeholder engagement, and science communication, working closely with partners like UNEP.My Focus Areas
