Empowering teams to thrive through strong systems, clear direction, and meaningful impact.
I support GRID-Arendal in staying focused, aligned, and operationally resilient. As Lead of the Project Support Office, I manage its various functions to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of operational, financial, and administrative support services for our projects. I have worked to improve GRID-Arendal’s internal systems so our teams can focus on making a real difference for people and the planet. What I Bring
I bring over 25 years of experience spanning communication, outreach, research, teaching, and organisational management. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to building effective systems, fostering inclusive collaboration, and ensuring that structures support meaningful, measurable impact. Since joining GRID-Arendal in 1998, I have held a range of roles across the organisation and now lead efforts to strengthen internal systems and ensure the smooth delivery of project and operational support services. With an academic background in anthropology, I bring a systems-oriented, culturally informed perspective to addressing organisational challenges and supporting effective project delivery. My work involves setting up clear decision-making processes, improving financial oversight and risk management, and ensuring that project delivery aligns with strategic goals and donor expectations. I have broad experience managing complex project portfolios and supporting collaboration across teams to strengthen organisational performance. I lead by supporting others, focusing on clarity, consistency, and trust. I believe that strong systems help teams work confidently and adapt to change. My role is to provide the structure and guidance that allow our project teams to stay focused on creating real impact for people and the planet. My Focus Areas
