What I Bring

At GRID-Arendal, I work at the intersection of sustainable finance, climate policy, and governance, supporting countries and communities to access the financial and institutional tools they need to deliver on their climate, nature, and development priorities. My focus is on designing mechanisms that channel finance to where it is most needed and most effective, with a particular emphasis on developing countries and emerging markets.

In the nature finance space, my work centres on three areas:

• Mobilisation – unlocking public and private capital at scale for climate and nature outcomes;
  
• Architecture – building the policies, pipelines, regulatory frameworks, and institutional systems needed to deploy finance effectively;
  
• Accountability – embedding transparency, safeguards, and monitoring to ensure finance delivers measurable and equitable impact.
  

Before joining GRID-Arendal, I led climate finance and nature policy initiatives across Africa, including the development of climate investment plans and pipelines, negotiations on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, carbon credit trading regulations, while also producing tools and knowledge products that support regulatory design and policy coherence. I’ve worked with governments, UN agencies, and civil society to help shape policies and unlock finance for high-impact climate and environmental programmes.
