Beach Morphology Animation Part I

Thomas Maes (GRID-Arendal) explains how beach morphology, or how beaches are formed, affect the deposition of marine litter.

This video is part of the online course "Marine Litter Monitoring for Citizen Science", developed by GRID-Arendal and Sustainable Seas Trust.

The course is based on SST's African Marine Litter Monitoring Manual 2022 Edition, developed with experts across the Western Indian Ocean (WIO) region to build capacity regarding monitoring marine plastic pollution in Africa.

The course is available for free here. The course requires an account on the African Waste Academy website.
